Job summary

Daifuku Intralogistics America Corporation seeks a Senior Manager, Production & Material Control to lead end-to-end materials management, demand planning, inventory control, and production support across manufacturing operations in Indiana.

You will oversee Planning & Scheduling, Inventory Control, and Engineering Support while aligning Production Control, Procurement, Manufacturing, and Warehouse teams to optimize material availability and production performance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Operations, Industrial Engineering, or related field.
• 10+ years of progressive leadership experience in materials management, planning, inventory, or SCM in manufacturing.
• Experience balancing customer requirements with manufacturing capacity and constraints.
• Strong leadership developing managers and high-performing teams.
• Experience with MRP/ERP systems focused on production planning and inventory control.
• Excellent communication and cross-functional collaboration abilities.

Responsibilities

• Lead Production Control operations including Planning, Engineering Support, and Inventory Control.
• Develop and execute demand and capacity planning aligned with annual objectives.
• Represent Manufacturing in Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP).
• Foster accountability, agility, collaboration, and operational excellence.
• Oversee inventory governance, cycle counts, and reconciliation efforts.
• Standardize material flow processes across manufacturing for efficiency.
• Ensure material availability to support production schedules and projects.
• Monitor KPIs and drive continuous improvement in supply chain performance.
• Partner with Manufacturing to achieve quality, delivery, cost, and safety targets.
• Drive data governance across ERP, planning, scheduling, and inventory systems.
