Job summary

Perr&Knight seeks a Senior Manager of Product Owners for PK1Cloud to lead a high-performing team delivering innovative SaaS solutions to the insurance industry. You will shape product direction, drive execution, and align cross-functional teams with company strategy.

Responsibilities include backlog governance, roadmaps, stakeholder communication, and KPIs. Expected to bring 10+ years in product management and 5+ years leading product teams, with strong Agile/Scrum experience and insurance

Qualifications

  • 10+ years of product management or product ownership experience in SaaS environments.
  • 5+ years of leading Product Owners or product teams.

Responsibilities

  • Lead, mentor, and develop a team of Product Owners for PK1Cloud applications and future initiatives.
  • Define and enforce best practices for backlog management, roadmap planning, sprint execution, and stakeholder communication.
  • Partner with Development, Sales, Marketing, Customer Success, and Executive Leadership to align product initiatives with strategy and revenue goals.
  • Translate strategic objectives into clear roadmaps, measurable outcomes, and prioritized features.
  • Drive customer-centric development by incorporating client feedback, industry trends, and regulatory changes.
  • Establish KPIs and success metrics to measure product performance, adoption, and retention.

As the Senior Manager of Product Owners for PK1Cloud, you will lead and scale a high performing team responsible for delivering innovative SaaS solutions to the insurance industry. This is a strategic leadership role with direct influence over product direction, execution excellence, and cross-functional alignment.

What You’ll Be Doing:
  • Leading, mentoring, and developing a team of Product Owners responsible for PK1Cloud applications and future initiatives.

  • Partnering closely with Development, Sales, Marketing, Customer Success, and Executive Leadership to align product initiatives with company strategy and revenue goals.
  • Translating strategic objectives into clear product roadmaps, measurable outcomes, and prioritized feature delivery.
  • Driving customer centric product development by incorporating client feedback, industry trends, and regulatory changes into product planning.
  • Establishing KPIs and success metrics to measure product performance, adoption, retention, and operational efficiency.
  • Facilitating quarterly and annual product planning processes.
  • Improving cross-functional workflows to ensure timely, high-quality releases.
  • Serving as the escalation point for complex product decisions and prioritization conflicts.
  • Fostering a culture of innovation, accountability, and continuous improvement across the product organization.
What You’ll Bring to the Table:
  • 10+ years of experience in product management or product ownership within SaaS environments
  • 5+ years of experience leading or managing Product Owners or product teams
  • 5+ years of Property and Casualty insurance experience
  • Strong understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies and product lifecycle management
  • Ability to translate complex regulatory or insurance workflows into scalable software solutions
  • Proven ability to balance long-term strategy with near-term execution
  • Exceptional stakeholder management and communication skills — able to influence technical and non-technical teams
  • Strong analytical skills and comfort using data to inform product decisions
  • Experience working with analytics and product management tools (e.g., Jira, Azure DevOps, product analytics platforms)
  • Bachelor’s degree or comparable industry experience
  • Willingness to travel 1–2 times per quarter as needed
