You will create measurable enterprise value by ensuring Procurement’s digital modernization agenda is structured, funded, governed, prioritized, and connected to business outcomes. This role also provides Procurement-side governance and oversight over GBS/GPS-led, GBS/GPS-supported, AP-connected, or cross-functional process and system changes that may impact Procurement, Procurement controls, supplier experience, business user experience, data integrity, automation, AI enablement, reporting, service delivery, or enterprise compliance.

What's on the menu?

  • Maintain the multi-year Procurement Digital Enablement strategy, roadmap, milestones, risks, dependencies, governance cadence, and execution priorities.
  • Translate Procurement business needs and process pain points into digital opportunities, automation use cases, AI pilots, process improvements, and measurable value cases.
  • Ensure digital modernization aligns with Source-to-Customer process ownership, AP-connected process performance, compliance, controls, user adoption, supplier experience, and enterprise priorities.
  • Manage intake and triage for Procurement technology, automation, reporting, AI, workflow, and process modernization requests.
  • Evaluate requests based on business value, feasibility, risk, control impact, data readiness, scalability, user impact, supplier impact, resource capacity, and funding needs.
  • Support proof-of-concept governance, pilot tracking, success criteria, scale/no-scale recommendations, and leadership decision materials.
  • Track value delivered through digital enablement, process modernization, automation, AI, data improvement, and portfolio execution.
  • Maintain benefit visibility across hard savings, cost avoidance, productivity, budget management, working capital impact, invoice exception reduction, process efficiency, compliance improvement, and risk reduction.
  • Partner with Finance and Procurement leadership to validate savings methodology, value assumptions, business cases, funding needs, and benefit realization.
  • Apply high Procurement acumen across Source-to-Customer and Accounts Payable-connected processes, including sourcing, contracting, supplier onboarding, PO compliance, approvals, receiving, invoicing, invoice exceptions, supplier payment readiness, and related controls.
  • Coordinate globally across regions, business units, enabling functions, GBS/GPS, AP, IT, Data, Automation, Enterprise AI, Compliance, Internal Audit, and service partners to promote consistency, transparency, and accountability.
Recipe for Success
  • I have years of experience in Procurement, Source-to-Customer, procurement operations, procurement transformation, digital enablement, process governance, portfolio management, shared services governance, or global business services oversight.
  • I have strong end-to-end Source-to-Customer and Accounts Payable-connected process knowledge, including sourcing, contracting, supplier onboarding, buying channels, purchase orders, approvals, receiving, invoicing, invoice exceptions, payment readiness, and controls.
  • I have experience supporting digital transformation, automation, AI use case intake, platform modernization, process improvement, or technology-enabled operating model change.
  • I have experience providing governance or oversight for shared services, GBS/GPS, AP, or cross-functional process and system changes, including impact assessment, stakeholder alignment, control review, documentation, approval routing, and implementation readiness.
  • I have a proven ability to track hard savings, cost avoidance, productivity, budget performance, business case value, benefit realization, or transformation impact.
  • I have experience managing multi-year roadmaps, portfolio intake, prioritization, funding needs, executive reporting, governance cadence, and cross-functional decision forums.
  • I have strong stakeholder management skills across Procurement, GBS/GPS, AP, Finance, IT, Data, Automation, Enterprise AI, Compliance, Internal Audit, and business teams.
  • I have the ability to support audit findings, corrective actions, control reviews, process documentation, root cause analysis, risk mitigation, and governance reporting.
  • I have strong executive communication skills with the ability to simplify complex process, technology, value, budget, risk, and governance topics into clear recommendations.
  • I have an ability to challenge proposed process or system changes constructively when they may create control gaps, process fragmentation, supplier disruption, role ambiguity, compliance risk, or value leakage.
