Versova is seeking aSenior Manager - Processing to oversee multiple egg processing facilities, setting strategic plans and driving performance across sites. You will lead Plant Managers, champion safety and quality, manage budgets, and push Lean/Six Sigma improvements while coordinating with executive leadership.

This role requires a strong background in food processing, regulatory compliance, and cross-functional collaboration.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in Food Science, Business, Industrial Management, or related field.
• 8+ years of leadership experience in food processing or manufacturing.
• Proven track record of implementing operational strategies across multiple sites.
• Strong knowledge of food safety regulations and quality management systems.
• Experience with Lean and Six Sigma process improvement.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency in data analysis and performance metric tracking.

The Senior Manager - Processing is responsible for overseeing multiple processing plants, ensuring operational excellence, efficiency, and compliance across all facilities. This role involves developing and implementing strategic operational plans, managing senior plant personnel, and driving continuous improvement initiatives. The Senior Manager collaborates with executive leadership and cross-functional teams to align processing operations with overall business objectives and industry best practices.

Essential Job Functions

• Develop and implement strategic operational plans across multiple processing facilities
• Lead and mentor a team of Plant Managers, fostering a culture of high performance and engagement
• Establish and maintain best practices for safety, quality, and efficiency across all plants

• Analyze performance metrics across plants and implement strategies for improvement

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Food Science, Business, Industrial Management, or related field
• 8+ years of leadership experience in food processing or manufacturing industries
• Proven track record of implementing successful operational strategies across multiple sites
• Strong knowledge of food safety regulations and quality management systems
• Experience with process improvement methodologies (e.g., Lean, Six Sigma)
• Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
• Proficiency in data analysis and performance metric tracking

Preferred Qualifications

• MBA or advanced degree in a relevant field
• Certifications in food safety management or quality systems (e.g., SQF, BRC)
• Experience in egg processing or related poultry operations
• Bilingual in English and Spanish
• Published work or speaking engagements in food processing forums

This position involves overseeing multiple processing facilities, requiring regular travel (up to 40%) between sites. The role demands a balance of strategic planning and hands‑on operational management. The Senior Manager must be comfortable in various food processing environments, including exposure to industrial equipment, chemicals, and temperature variations. Some flexibility in working hours is necessary to address urgent operational issues or participate in critical projects.
