Biogen is seeking a Senior Manager, Predictive Science & AI - US Commercial to lead ML/AI initiatives that drive data‑driven decisions across the U.S. Commercial org. Hybrid role located in Cambridge, MA with on‑site presence 3 days a week.
You will partner with Insights & Analytics, Enterprise Data Management, IT, and Medical Affairs to build predictive models, optimize analytics, and accelerate commercial growth.
The Senior Manager, Predictive Science & AI - US Commercial willbe responsible for developing, implementing and optimizingof machine learningand AI solutionsthat drive data-driven decision-makingacross the U.S. Commercial organization. This is a hybrid role to the Cambridge, MA office which requires an on-site presence 3 days per week.
Design, developandvalidatemachine learningandpredictiveanalytics-basedsolutions supportingU.S. Commercialfunction.
Evaluate business and analytical needs to select and implementappropriate statistical, machine learning, and AI methodologies that deliver meaningful insights into patient populations, healthcare provider behavior, treatment patterns, and commercial opportunities.
Follow andrefinebest practicesfor model development, monitoring, governance, and continuous improvement.
Develop,deployadvancedanalytics, machine learning, andAI solutions togenerate actionable insightsinto patient populations, healthcare provider behavior, treatment patterns, and disease progression.
Develop predictive modelsthat support patientidentification, segmentation, treatment initiation,adherence, persistence,and healthcare providerengagement strategies.
Integrate and analyzeclaims, electronic healthrecords (EHR), specialtypharmacy, and commercialdata to uncoveropportunities that improvepatient access, providerengagement, and commercialeffectiveness.
Partner with Commercial, Medical Affairs, andInsights & Analytics teamsto translate patientand provider insightsinto evidence-basedbusiness strategies.
Communicate complex analyticalfindings clearly toleadershipandcross-functional teams.
Supporta cultureof innovation, collaboration, continuous learning, andtechnical excellence.
Manage external vendorsand consulting partners.
Operate effectively ina fast-paced, cross-functional environment, managing multiple initiativeswhile ensuring timelyand high-qualityexecution.
Bachelor’s degree with 5+ years of experience, orMaster’sdegree with 3+ years of experience, in Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Engineering, Economics, or a related quantitative field.
3+ years of experience supporting U.S. Commercial organizationswithin the pharmaceutical/biotechnologyindustry.
Strong programming skillsin PythonandSQL.
Experience with Databricks, Snowflakeand Power BI.
Expertisein machinelearning, statistical modeling, predictive analytics,and optimization techniques.
Knowledge of commercialpharmaceutical data sourcessuch as IQVIA, Symphony Health, Veeva, Komodo, or claimsand EHR datasets.
Excellent communicationand stakeholder managementskills.
Location: Hybrid (U.S.)
Reports To: Director,Predictive Sciences
Travel: Approximately 10-20% as needed

Additional Information
The base compensation range for this role is: $142,000.00-$190,000.00
Base salary offered is determined through an analytical approach utilizing a combination of factors including, but not limited to, relevant skills & experience, job location, and internal equity.
