Job summary
Disney Entertainment and ESPN Product & Technology in California seeks a Sr. Manager of Foundations Engineering to lead platform engineering, DevOps, and reliability across Ad Platforms.
You will shape cloud-native tooling, CI/CD, and observability practices to empower development teams at scale. As a people leader, you will mentor engineers, optimize deployments, and partner with AI/Data groups to deliver secure, cost-efficient, high-availability services across AWS/Azure/GCP in a hybrid
Qualifications
- 10+ years of software engineering experience, with depth in platform engineering, cloud infra, DevOps or SRE.
- Proven people management experience leading engineering teams within a platform or infra org.
- Strong cloud infra and platform engineering expertise across AWS; Kubernetes and IaC at production scale.
Responsibilities
- Lead platform engineering and DevOps for Ad Platforms, including CI/CD, Kubernetes, IaC, and cloud integrations.
- Drive automation-first operations, self-service tooling, and reliable deployment patterns across teams.
- Own delivery cadence, roadmap, postmortems, and operational reviews to improve platform health.
