Overview

A global sports rights holder that has reimagined long distance competitions is looking for a proactive, self-starting partnership sales professional with a passion for building partnerships in sports and live events. This role is a critical part of the team’s commercial growth strategy, responsible for developing new, high-impact sponsorship revenue across a broad mix of categories.

Key Responsibilities
  • Drive new business development through prospecting, networking, and outreach (including cold calls, referrals, and events).
  • Develop and deliver compelling proposals tailored to client goals and brand alignment.
  • Manage a portfolio of existing sponsors, ensuring long-term relationships and revenue growth.
  • Drive partnership opportunities across a growing portfolio of 10+ events annually (from title partners to grassroots and expo activations).
  • Build, pitch, and close strategic sponsorship deals that maximize brand value and event impact.
  • Work closely with internal teams to ensure the successful execution of partnership programs.
  • Maintain detailed sales reporting, including pipeline status, revenue tracking, and performance metrics.
  • Consistently deliver or exceed annual sponsorship revenue targets.
Key Requirements
  • A self-starter who takes initiative, prepares thoroughly, and communicates clearly.
  • Strong track record in partnership or sponsorship sales in the sports industry is essential, with a strong preference for long-distance / endurance based events
  • Ability to work across different partnership levels - from title sponsors to grassroots activations and expos.
