Job description

Role Summary

The Senior Manager, P2P Process & Platform Enablement is responsible for leading and advancing Procure-to-Pay (P2P) execution enablement, serving as a senior business lead for the platform, processes, and controls that support compliant, efficient purchasing and supplier transactions.

This role leads the business-side enablement of P2P execution across requisitioning, approvals, catalogs, purchase orders, receiving, invoice processing and matching, and Supplier Information Management (SIM). The role helps ensure P2P execution is stable, well-controlled, scalable, and continuously improved, leveraging best in class practices and AI. Partners closely with Procurement Operations, Finance/AP, IT/Digital, and other COE towers to deliver reliable outcomes improving UX.

Key Responsibilities
1. P2P Process & Platform Ownership

Serve as a senior business lead for P2P execution processes and enabling platforms, including requisitioning, approvals, catalogs, PO creation and changes, receiving, invoice capture and matching, and operational payment handoffs.

Lead the Supplier Information Management (SIM) operating model, including supplier onboarding, profile maintenance, and execution workflows, in partnership with operations and data stewards.

Drive a controlled end-to-end lifecycle for P2P execution, including matching logic, exception handling, and audit-ready traceability within the broader S2P system architecture.

2. Enablement Roadmap & Continuous Improvement

Lead the enablement roadmap and backlog for P2P processes and platforms, including enhancements, configuration changes, and defect remediation.

Prioritize work based on business value, compliance risk, operational efficiency, and user experience.

Drive continuous improvement across cycle times, exception volumes, guided buying adoption, catalog usage, and compliance outcomes.

Embrace and leverage best in class processes & AI solutions to drive the enablement roadmap and deliver on continuous improvement targets.

3. Change, Release & Readiness Management

Lead business-side change and release readiness activities, including impact assessment, testing coordination, UAT, and go-live preparation.

Ensure changes & releases do not disrupt purchasing, invoice processing, supplier workflows, or downstream financial execution.

Partner with IT and operations to manage issues, escalations, and post-deployment stabilization.

4. Controls, Compliance & Operational Integrity

Advance P2P workflows, configurations, and routing models that support and operationalize required controls, approvals, receiving, matching tolerances, and exception governance.

Partner with Finance/AP and Compliance to support audit requirements and reduce off-policy or off-contract spend while leveraging optimal payment terms and catalog utilization.

5. Supplier Enablement & Data Quality

Lead supplier enablement efforts to support efficient onboarding and accurate supplier information throughout the lifecycle.

Partner with MDM, Data Governance, and Operations teams to ensure supplier data completeness, accuracy, and stewardship exist within all P2P tools.

6. Operating Model with Procurement Operations and other S2P teams

Partner with Procurement Operations and any execution or BPO teams supporting P2P activities to maintain clear operating rhythms.

Define escalation paths, issue resolution processes, and continuous improvement loops to reduce friction and improve service levels (SLA's) with upstream & downstream stakeholders including sourcing, contracting, TPRM and AP.

7. Cross-COE Collaboration (Clear Boundaries)

Partner with Strategy, Governance & Excellence to operationalize standards and policies within P2P execution.

Partner with User Orchestration to ensure intake and buying-channel decisions flow cleanly into P2P execution.

Partner with Analytics and Master Data teams to ensure execution & transactional data supports trusted KPIs and decision-grade insights.

Qualifications & Experience
Required:

8+ years of experience supporting and enabling Procure-to-Pay processes and platforms in a business, COE, or product ownership role.

Strong understanding of end-to-end P2P execution, including requisitioning, approvals, PO management, receiving, invoice processing, and matching.

Hands-on experience leading requirements definition, UAT, enablement enhancements, and user training.

Expert Change Agent with demonstrable skills in planning, communicating, and executing platform releases, enhancements, and configuration changes with various cross-functional teams.

Extensive deployment and utilization of AI, RPA, OCR, and other cutting-edge technologies & capabilities within the P2P space.

Preferred:

Experience driving P2P automation and reducing operational friction, particularly in invoice matching and exception handling.

Experienced leading Coupa and SIM.

Experience partnering with ERP and Accounts Payable teams to support stable financial execution.

Exposure to various P2P platform integrations including Contingent Labor tools, CLM's, MDM, and TPRM.

Familiarity with structured enablement, training, or credentialing models for P2P platforms.

Leadership Attributes

Pay Range

$135,400 - $203,100

Disclosure Statement

The range provided is based on what we believe is a reasonable estimate for the base salary pay range for this job at the time of posting. This role is eligible for an annual bonus and annual equity awards. Some roles may also be eligible for overtime pay, in accordance with federal and state requirements. Actual base salary pay will be based on a number of factors, including skills, competencies, experience, and other job- related factors permitted by law.
