Job description

  • Conduct security risk assessments and audits to identify vulnerabilities and recommend appropriate security measures and controls (including physical security and information security).
  • Design and implement physical security systems, including access control systems, video surveillance systems, intrusion detection systems, and alarms, to protect our facilities and assets.
  • Responsible for the planning and operation of the intelligent security construction project, including the use of IoT, cloud computing, AI and other technologies, integrating traditional security prevention scope towards digital transformation.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including facilities management, IT, and HR, to ensure the integration of physical security solutions with other business systems and processes.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in physical security to continuously enhance the organization’s security posture.
  • Collaborate with external vendors and contractors to evaluate, select, and oversee the implementation of physical security technologies and solutions.
  • Following Corporate PIP policy, oversee readiness and effectiveness of AZ PIP measures.
  • PIP daily operations (PIP issues handling, External audit, Training, Promotion, Compliance Checks, etc.)
  • Provide consultancy to internal organizations by a) assessing their information security issues, concerns, and potential risks, and b) providing cost efficient security enhancement solutions.
Basic Qualifications and Skills
  • Familiarity with industry standards and best practices for physical security and information security risk assessment.
  • Knowledge of regulatory requirements related to physical security, such as GDPR, HIPAA, or ISO 27001, ISO 15408.
  • Familiarity with security requirements of high‑tech customers.
  • Proven experience as a Physical Security Engineer or in a similar role, with a track record of designing and implementing physical security solutions.
  • Strong knowledge of physical security technologies, including access control systems, video surveillance systems, intrusion detection systems, and alarms.
  • Proficient in conducting security audits, vulnerability assessments, and risk analysis.
  • Excellent problem‑solving skills and the ability to analyze complex security challenges and propose effective solutions.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate with cross‑functional teams and present security concepts to technical and non‑technical stakeholders.
  • Detail‑oriented with strong organizational and project management skills.
  • Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and handle multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Experience working with third‑party security vendors and contractors.
  • Experience in semiconductor, technology manufacturing, international large companies, etc.
