Job description

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, which manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Senior Manager, Operations and Supply Chain — NikeSKIMS based in the United States.

The Senior Manager, Operations and Supply Chain will lead merchandising operations and supply chain execution to support product launches across multiple categories, channels, and international markets. This role will bridge merchandising strategy and operational delivery, ensuring purchase orders, product data, pricing, and inventory readiness are accurate and aligned with launch timelines. Working across planning, logistics, technology, merchandising, and external distribution partners, you will drive operational excellence and resolve complex supply chain challenges. You will establish scalable processes, strengthen cross-functional collaboration, and improve visibility across the entire order lifecycle. The position combines hands‑on execution with strategic process development in a fast‑paced, high‑growth retail environment. This is an opportunity to shape operational infrastructure, improve business performance, and support the successful expansion of an innovative global apparel collaboration.

Accountabilities
  • Purchase Order Management and Tracking: Oversee purchase order creation, cost and royalty entry, and launch calendar management. Maintain accurate mid‑season purchase order updates in NetSuite, track orders across North American, European, and international distribution partners, update delivery dates weekly, and proactively address discrepancies, delays, and delivery risks.
  • EDI Execution and Order Transmission: Manage purchase order submissions through SPS Commerce or similar EDI platforms, ensuring successful transmission and acknowledgment. Collaborate with internal technology and logistics teams and external partners to troubleshoot rejected transmissions, validate order data, and maintain alignment with delivery schedules.
  • Order Reconciliation: Lead end‑to‑end purchase order reconciliation from planning handoff through partner confirmation and delivery. Validate quantities, sizing, costs, dates, and shipping information, resolve discrepancies, and serve as a key operational liaison between planning, logistics, and external partners.
  • Launch Readiness: Coordinate launch preparation across merchandising, planning, site merchandising, and logistics to ensure product setup, pricing, and inventory availability meet launch deadlines. Maintain a consolidated view of order status and outstanding requirements, identify potential risks early, and coordinate corrective actions across teams.
  • Product Data and International Pricing: Collect and validate product and customs information, including care instructions, material composition, country of origin, manufacturer details, and manufacturer addresses. Oversee product data entry in NetSuite, maintain accurate UPCs, style numbers, color codes, and sizing, and coordinate international MSRP collection, pricing templates, uploads, and pre‑launch validation.
  • Process Development and Systems Coordination: Create and maintain standard operating procedures for purchase orders, product data, EDI submissions, reconciliation, and pricing. Define ownership, handoffs, deadlines, and escalation procedures, collaborate on system improvements and new distribution partner onboarding, and reduce manual work through process optimization.
  • Performance Management and Cross‑Functional Leadership: Establish and monitor operational KPIs, including order accuracy, transmission success, and issue resolution timelines. Lead operational reviews, communicate risks and progress clearly, and drive accountability across internal teams and external partners.
Requirements
  • Relevant Experience: At least 7 years of experience in merchandising operations, order management, supply chain, or a related function, ideally within apparel, retail, or consumer products.
  • Systems Expertise: Required hands‑on experience with NetSuite, particularly purchase order management and product data maintenance. Experience with Looker is preferred.
  • EDI and Order Management: Practical experience with SPS Commerce or comparable EDI platforms, including transmission troubleshooting, acknowledgment tracking, and order validation.
  • Supply Chain and Logistics Knowledge: Strong understanding of end‑to‑end supply chain and logistics processes, international distribution, and the operational factors that affect product availability and launch execution.
  • Product Data Management: Experience managing complex product assortments across styles, colors, and sizes, with a strong focus on data integrity and consistency across multiple systems.
  • Analytical Skills: Advanced Excel capabilities and strong data reconciliation skills, with the ability to analyze large datasets, identify discrepancies, and develop actionable solutions.
  • Process Improvement: Demonstrated ability to design and document SOPs, streamline workflows, establish operational controls, and lead continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Communication and Relationship Management: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to coordinate diverse stakeholders, influence cross‑functional partners, and resolve issues constructively.
