• Key responsibilities:

  • Serve as an interface with business units and GIS Sales, Operations, Engineering, Service, and Finance for Business intelligence, big data, and AI/ML strategy alignment, solution discovery, service management, and project portfolio management. Manage personnel serving as interface points.
  • Validate and ensure design integrity of business processes and applications to address complex needs. Manage personnel involved in solution architecture, configuration, testing, and data strategies. Keep abreast of market technologies and evaluate new solutions.
  • Manage personnel providing business application support to meet performance and satisfaction targets. Ensure systems are monitored and tuned for availability and performance. Oversee application lifecycle activities.
  • Deliver and manage project and support services within budget. Develop project budgets and understand cost models. Ensure timely renewal of contracts.
  • Monitor adherence to project management, development, testing, and governance standards. Support audits and controls.
  • Plan and manage large, complex cross-functional projects, managing project managers.
  • Oversee contingent workers, ensuring proper onboarding, utilization, and performance. Work with management to identify improvement opportunities.

Experience:

• 8+ years in IT, focusing on finance applications.
• At least 5 years in leadership, managing IT teams and projects.
• Proven experience as a Solution Architect and Project Manager in finance environments.

Technical Skills:

SAP/Workday Expertise:

• Experience with M&A Day-1 Finance and HR/Payroll integration preferred.
• Deep understanding of SAP FI/CO, including GL setup, configuration, and integration.
• Experience with Workday Time Tracking and Payroll modules; certification preferred.
• Familiarity with SAP Financial Master data and SAP S/4HANA Finance, including migration and analytics.
• Experience with SAP Fiori and integration with other enterprise systems.

Financial Processes:

• Deep knowledge of financial regulations, IFRS, and GAAP.
• Understanding of time and payroll functions in Finance or HR.

Business Process Optimization:

• Skills in analyzing and improving business processes using SAP.

Data Analytics Platforms:

• Proficiency in BI tools like Tableau, Power BI, or SAP Analytics Cloud.

SaaS Applications:

• Experience with finance and payroll SaaS applications, cloud principles, APIs, and data security.

Project Management:

• Expertise in Agile, Waterfall, and hybrid methodologies; proficiency in JIRA, MS Project.

Cloud and Infrastructure:

• Experience with AWS, Azure, Google Cloud, and IT security best practices.

Stakeholder Management:

• Effective communication with stakeholders at all levels; skills in expectation management and collaboration.

Educational Background:

Bachelor’s in Computer Science, IT, Finance, or related; Master’s or MBA preferred.
