Key Responsibilities

1. Serve as an interface with business units and GIS Sales, Operations, Engineering, Service, and Finance for Business intelligence, big data, and AI/ML strategy alignment, solution discovery, service management, and project portfolio management. Manage personnel serving as interface points.
2. Validate and ensure design integrity of business processes and applications to address complex needs. Manage personnel involved in solution architecture, application/configuration, testing, and data strategies. Keep abreast of market technologies and drive new evaluations.
3. Manage personnel providing business application support to meet performance and satisfaction targets. Ensure system availability, performance tuning, root cause analysis, and lifecycle management.
4. Deliver and manage project and support services within budget. Develop project budgets, understand cost models, and implement cost optimization. Ensure timely renewal of maintenance and subscriptions.
5. Monitor adherence to project management, development, testing, and governance standards. Support audits and controls.
6. Plan and manage large-scale, complex cross-functional projects, managing project managers.
7. Oversee contingent workers, ensuring timely onboarding/offboarding, optimizing utilization, and working with management on improvement plans.

Experience and Skills

• 8+ years in IT, focusing on finance applications.
• At least 5 years in leadership, managing teams and projects.
• Proven background as a Solution Architect and Project Manager in finance environments.

Technical Skills

• SAP/Workday Expertise: Prior M&A experience with Day-1 Finance and HR/Payroll integration is highly desirable. Deep understanding of SAP FI/CO, General Ledger setup, and configuration. Experience with Workday Time Tracking and Payroll modules, certifications preferred. Familiarity with SAP Financial Master Data, Controlling, SAP S/4HANA Finance, Universal Journal, Real-time Analytics, Migration, and Integration.
• Financial Processes: Deep knowledge of IFRS, GAAP, and financial regulations. Understanding of payroll functions.
• Business Process Optimization: Skills in analyzing and improving business processes using SAP capabilities. Experience in workflow design and automation.
• Data Analytics Platforms: Proficiency in Tableau, Power BI, SAP Analytics Cloud. Knowledge of data warehousing, ETL, big data tech.
• SaaS Applications: Familiarity with finance and payroll SaaS, cloud principles, APIs, security, and integration platforms.
• Project Management: Expertise in Agile, Waterfall, hybrid methodologies. Proficiency in JIRA, MS Project.
• Cloud & Infrastructure: Experience with AWS, Azure, Google Cloud; knowledge of IT infrastructure/security.
• Stakeholder Management: Effective communication with finance and IT stakeholders, expectation management, collaboration skills.
• Educational Background: Bachelor’s in CS, IT, Finance, or related; Master’s or MBA preferred.
