Job summary

The Senior Manager of Implementations at HCA Healthcare leads implementation teams to deliver Revenue Cycle Point Solutions for new and existing clients. The role partners with IT&S, Project Services, Operations Leadership, and Client Management to ensure successful deployments from kickoff to completion.

Candidates should bring strong program management skills, experience with healthcare revenue cycle operations, and the ability to manage multiple projects across client accounts.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 5 years of relevant experience.
  • 2-6 years experience managing multiple projects and programs, preferably in a healthcare revenue cycle environment.

Job Summary And Qualifications

The Senior Manager of Implementations position requires solid communication and customer service skills to lead implementation teams as well as to interface with clients. The Sr. Manager of Implementations must have strong management skills, understanding of healthcare revenue cycle and a keen ability to operate both strategically and tactically. The Sr. Manager must be results-oriented with a demonstrated strong commitment and willingness to do what it takes to get the job done.

What you will do in this role:
  • Act as the business owner to ensure successful implementations of new revenue cycle clients and new services provided to existing clients into the Parallon Business Performance Group Revenue Cycle Point Solutions. Accomplish this through:
  • Actively collaborating with representatives from IT&S, Project Services, Revenue Cycle Point Solutions Subject Matter Experts, Operations Leadership, Client Management team members and Staff.
  • Managing detailed assessment of current practices and business needs of the client
  • Overseeing the proper mapping of client Health Information Systems to the respective Revenue Cycle Point Solutions technology needed to facilitate successful service delivery to client
  • Overseeing formal client education related to Revenue Cycle Point Solutions services to be delivered
  • Facilitating client kick-off processes and weekly implementation meetings/calls through to project completion
  • Acting as the escalation point for implementation decision making, issues and risks
  • Overseeing the client acceptance and parallel testing process during implementation
  • Working with Revenue Cycle Point Solutions Client Relations Management team to ensure a smooth transition to the assigned Client Manager and Strategic Account Executive.
  • Act as the leader for the Revenue Cycle Point Solutions Implementation team by:
  • Authoring implementation toolkits, approving initial implementation schedules and negotiating with internal and external stakeholders when implementation schedule changes are requested.
  • Facilitating Client Workbook process and version control
  • Collaborating with Project Services to ensure project timelines are established, managed to and when necessary adjusted through internal and client collaboration.
  • Collaborating with Operations teams to ensure staffing is appropriately allocated to ensure client performance expectations can me met/exceeded.
  • Collaborating with IT&S implementation leadership to ensure staffing for the project is appropriate
  • Having a keen knowledge and industry understanding of the services Revenue Cycle Point Solutions provides to clients including:
  • Medicaid Eligibility and Patient Advocacy Services
  • Early Out Self Pay Collections
  • Bad Debt Collections
  • Third Party Liability Services
  • Insurance/BPO Services
  • Moderate travel will be required.
  • Adheres to and supports organizational standards, policies, and procedures.
  • Adheres to Code of Conduct.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
  • Bachelors Degree in Business Administration or other comparable Bachelor’s Degree.
  • Equivalent work experience may substitute educational requirements.
  • Minimum 5 years of relevant experience.
  • 2-6 years experience managing multiple projects and programs to successful completion, preferably in a healthcare revenue cycle environment
  • Experience with large-scale system implementations preferred.
  • Healthcare revenue cycle operations experience preferred.
