Job summary

Tekion is seeking a Senior Manager, FP&A to lead financial planning, budgeting and forecasting across multiple business units. You will provide executive-level insights and partner with leadership to steer strategic decisions.

You will manage a team of finance analysts, develop robust dashboards and reporting, and drive improvements in planning tools and processes to scale FP&A capabilities and forecast accuracy.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of FP&A, corporate finance, or strategic business analysis experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting across multiple business units or corporate functions.
• Provide executive-level financial insights and partner with leadership to support strategic decision-making.
• Manage and mentor a team of finance analysts and managers, driving career development and performance excellence.
• Develop and maintain financial dashboards and performance metrics aligned with company goals.
• Oversee annual budgets, rolling forecasts, and long-range planning cycles.
• Ensure timely and accurate financial reporting, variance analysis, and commentary for leadership and board reporting.
• Drive planning tool improvements and process enhancements to scale FP&A capabilities and forecast accuracy.

Job description

• The Senior Manager, FP&A leads financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting activities across multiple business units or corporate functions. Provides executive-level financial insights and partners with leadership to support strategic decision-making. Manages a team of analysts and drives improvements in planning tools, processes, and reporting
• Oversees annual budgeting, rolling forecasts, and long-range planning cycles for assigned functions or business lines
• Provides financial analysis and recommendations to executive leadership, including scenario modeling and strategic insights
• Develops and maintains financial dashboards and performance metrics aligned with company goals
• Leads cross-functional financial reviews and drives alignment between financial results and business strategy
• Ensures timely and accurate financial reporting, variance analysis, and commentary for leadership and board reporting
• Implements planning tools and process enhancements to scale FP&A capabilities and improve forecast accuracy
• Manages and mentors a team of finance analysts and managers, supporting career development and performance excellence

Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field; MBA or CFA strongly preferredExceptional leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills10+ years of experience in FP&A, corporate finance, or strategic business analysisProven experience managing financial planning cycles and delivering actionable business insightsExperience with ERP systems such as Oracle, SAP, or NetSuiteStrong proficiency in Excel, financial modeling, and planning/reporting tools (e.g., Anaplan, Adaptive Insights, Power BI)
