Job summary

Mission Produce, a global leader in fresh fruit, seeks a Senior Manager of FP&A to drive budgeting, forecasting, reporting and strategic analysis across the enterprise. You will partner with leaders in multiple entities to align plans with company objectives and deliver actionable insights.

The role requires strong accounting knowledge, multi‑entity experience, and advanced Excel/PowerPoint skills; Spanish is a plus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA or MBA preferred.
• Minimum 7 years of FP&A, accounting, or related experience; agricultural industry experience a plus.
• Candidate must be highly analytical and a critical thinker with strong problem‑solving skills.
• Strong accounting and experience working with multi‑entity frameworks.
• Strong self‑starter, independent thinker, detail oriented, and highly organized with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast‑paced environment.
• Ability to effectively communicate and present information to various levels of the Finance department as well as senior leadership across functional areas.
• Proven track record of meeting deadlines and taking initiative to make confident and well‑informed decisions.
• High proficiency with MS Excel and PowerPoint; experience with FP&A systems a plus.
• Fluent in Spanish a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead annual budgeting, forecasting, and long‑term planning processes.

• Prepare and distribute financial reports and analyses for management.
• Coordinate with international finance & accounting teams to align local forecasts with corporate models.
• Develop and maintain financial models for strategic initiatives.
• Prepare recurring internal management reporting and communicate underlying assumptions, trends, and results.
• Analyze cost structure changes with global cross‑functional teams for senior management.
• Support month‑end and year‑end close processes with accounting.
• Help develop and maintain an enterprise‑wide FP&A planning system.
• Drive continuous improvement in FP&A processes, tools, and reporting.

JOB SUMMARY

The Senior Manager of FP&A will be a major contributor to the company’s financial planning, financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and strategic financial analysis, ensuring accurate and timely financial insights to support business growth. This position will support the Director in analyzing current financial performance and will interact with leadership teams across the enterprise to establish financial goals and monitor performance to drive decision‑making across the business. The ideal candidate is a self‑starter with strong accounting knowledge and a collaborative mindset, capable of working across entities to deliver meaningful impact to the FP&A team.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

• Lead the annual budgeting, forecasting, and long‑term planning processes, ensuring alignment with company objectives.
• Play a key role in developing the annual capital budget in partnership with business leaders across the organization and provide monthly updates on variances to plan.
• Prepare and distribute financial reports and analysis of performance to key functional leaders with identification of issues/trends to provide actionable insights to management.
• Work closely with international finance & accounting teams to integrate local forecasts to corporate models to ensure alignment in expected projections.
• Develop and maintain financial models to support strategic initiatives and operational decision‑making.
• Responsible for preparation of recurring internal management reporting and effectively communicating underlying assumptions, trends, and results to management.
• Partner with global cross‑functional teams to analyze changes in cost structures to effectively communicate findings to senior management.
• Support month‑end and year‑end close processes in collaboration with the accounting team.
• Play a key role in the development, implementation, and maintenance of an enterprise‑wide FP&A planning system.
• Drive continuous improvement in FP&A processes, tools, and reporting systems.
• Other projects as directed by management.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIREMENTS

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA or MBA preferred.

Salary Range: $129,579 - $161,974
