Pay Range: $105,400.00 - $163,400.00

Purpose: The Senior Manager of Commercial Sales leads a team of Account Managers to drive revenue growth and market share in the Commercial division. This role is responsible for coaching, developing, and enabling the sales team to deliver on business objectives while ensuring exceptional client relationships, profitable sales execution, and alignment with regional strategies.

Minimum Eligibility Requirements:
  • Remote- must be based on the West Coast
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Sales, Marketing, or related field (preferred).
  • 7–10+ years of B2B sales experience, ideally in commercial building products, flooring, or related industries.
  • 3–5+ years of leadership experience managing sales teams with 8+ direct reports.
  • Proven track record of exceeding sales targets and driving profitable growth.
  • Strong financial acumen with ability to analyze sales reports and forecasts.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
Essential Job Functions:
  • Translate regional sales strategy into actionable team plans that achieve revenue, margin, and growth objectives.
  • Develop and manage sales forecasts, pipeline health, and territory plans for the team.
  • Identify opportunities for new business development and expansion within target markets.
  • Lead, mentor, and develop a team of Account Managers, fostering accountability, performance, and professional growth.
  • Conduct regular performance reviews, coaching sessions, and ride-alongs to strengthen selling skills and client engagement.
  • Drive a culture of high performance, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
  • Oversee key client relationships, ensuring exceptional service and satisfaction for major accounts.
  • Partner with Account Managers to resolve escalated customer challenges.
  • Stay informed on industry trends, competitor activity, and market dynamics to inform sales strategies.
  • Monitor sales performance metrics, pipeline activity, and team KPIs, reporting results to the Regional Sales Director.
  • Ensure compliance with pricing, contract, and operational policies to protect profitability.
  • Collaborate with operations, installation, and product teams to ensure seamless project delivery and customer satisfaction.
Working Conditions (travel & environment)
  • Frequent travel required including air and car travel.
  • While performing the duties of this job, the employee is occasionally exposed to a warehouse environment and moving vehicles. The noise level in the work environment is typically quiet to moderate.

PHYSICAL/SENSORY REQUIREMENTS: Sedentary Work – Ability to exert 10 - 20 pounds of force occasionally, and/or negligible amount of force frequently to lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects. Sedentary work involves sitting most of the time but may involve walking or standing for brief periods of time.
