Comtech Telecommunications Corp. in Santa Clara, CA, seeks a Senior Manager, NPI Manufacturing Engineering to lead the engineering team through bringing new satellite communication products from concept to commercialization.

The role requires deep knowledge of satellite technologies, manufacturing processes, and project management, ensuring manufacturability, quality, and timely market introduction. This onsite position reports to Operations and offers an exempt, full-time schedule.

• Extensive experience managing NPI projects from concept through production.
• Strong leadership to guide a high-performing engineering team.
• Deep knowledge of lean manufacturing and Six Sigma principles.

Mansioni

• Lead NPI manufacturing engineering team and production test departments.
• Collaborate with R&D, product management, and production to ensure manufacturability.
• Develop manufacturing strategies, tooling, equipment, and layouts for satellite products.
• Oversee transitions from design to production maximizing quality and efficiency.
• Mentor team members and drive continuous improvement using Lean and Six Sigma.
