Job summary

Avalyn Pharma is seeking a Senior Manager, New Product Planning to translate clinical and market insights into commercial strategy for our inhaled therapies in pulmonary fibrosis and related diseases.

You will partner with Clinical Development, Regulatory, Medical Affairs, and Finance to ensure launch timing and go-to-market plans align with market opportunity, risk, and patient needs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required; advanced degree preferred.
• 5–8+ years in biotech/pharma new product planning or related fields.
• Rare disease or pulmonary therapy experience preferred.
• Experience developing Target Product Profiles and forecast models.

Responsibilities

• Represent the commercial voice in cross-functional program teams.
• Develop and adapt Target Product Profiles (TPPs).
• Maintain market landscape, epidemiology, and addressable-patient models.
• Conduct competitive intelligence and market assessments.
• Support pricing, market access, and reimbursement strategies.
• Lead small research projects and develop discussions guides as needed.
• Develop business cases and forecast analyses for pipeline investments.
• Identify and manage external vendors for market research and launch planning.
