Michels Underground Cable, Inc. is seeking a Senior Manager to lead strategic projects from inception through completion, securing resources, budgets, risks, and changes to ensure profitability within the region.

You will guide data center and mission-critical projects with a focus on MV duct banks, substation feeds, and underground transmission. This role requires strong verbal and written communication, leadership, and the ability to travel up to 50% to project sites across the United States.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of related experience or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Experience with MV duct banks, substation feeds, underground transmission, or campus distribution systems for data centers.
• Experience with project management software (Primavera, HCSS, etc.).
• Ability to travel 50% to project sites across the US.
• Must possess a valid driver license and acceptable driving record.

Responsibilities

Position Summary

As a Senior Manager , you will be responsible for planning, monitoring, and managing strategic projects / programs from inception through completion. This position secures required resources, and uses formal processes and tools to manage resources, budgets, risks, and changes and is responsible for project success and profitability within the region. Critical for success is the ability to demonstrate strong verbal and written communication skills, and to maintain organization while providing direction and leadership. This role will support data center and mission critical projects while focusing on medium voltage (MV) duct banks, substation feeds, underground transmission, and campus distribution systems.

What It Takes

• 10+ years of related experience, OR equivalent combination of education and experience
• Experience working on medium voltage (MV) duct banks, substation feeds, underground transmission, or campus distribution systems for data center
• Experiencewith Project Management software (Primavera, HCSS, etc.)
• Ability to travel 50% to project sites across the US
• Must possess a valid driver license for the type(s) of vehicles which may be driven and an acceptable driving record as determined by Michels review tea

Desired Qualifications

• Advanced licensing/certifications
