Job summary

Michels Underground Cable, Inc. is seeking a Senior Manager to plan, monitor, and manage strategic projects from inception to completion. You will secure resources, manage budgets and risks, and drive profitability within the region for data center and mission critical initiatives.

Focus areas include MV duct banks, substation feeds, underground transmission, and campus distribution systems. Strong communication and leadership are essential in this role.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of related experience or equivalent education/experience.
• Experience with MV duct banks, substation feeds, underground transmission, or campus distribution for data centers.
• Experience with Primavera, HCSS, and other PM software; valid driver’s license; ability to travel up to 50%.

Responsibilities

• Plan, monitor, and manage strategic projects from inception to completion.
• Secure resources and manage budgets, risks, and changes.
• Ensure project success and profitability within the region.
• Support data center and mission critical projects focusing on MV duct banks, substations, and campus distribution.

Position Summary

As a Senior Manager, you will be responsible for planning , monitoring , and managing strategic projects / programs fro m inception through completion . This position s ecures required resources, and uses formal processes and tools to manage resources, budgets, risk s, and changes and is responsible for project success and profitability within the region . Critical for success is the ability to demonstrate strong verbal and written communication skills, and to maintain organization while providing direction and leadership. This role will support data center and mission critical projects while focusing on medium voltage (MV) duct banks, substation feeds, underground transmission, and campus distribution systems.

What It Takes

• 10+ years of related experience, OR equivalent combination of education and experience
• Experience working on medium voltage (MV) duct banks, substation feeds, underground transmission, or campus distribution systems for data center
• Experiencewith Project Management software (Primavera, HCSS, etc.)
• Ability to travel 50% to project sites across the US
• Must possess a valid driver license for the type(s) of vehicles which may be driven and an acceptable driving record as determined by Michels review tea
