Job summary

Danone is seeking a Milk Valorization Senior Manager in Louisville, CO or White Plains, NY. The role leads strategic planning and portfolio management for milk valorization, aligning with business objectives and market trends, while coordinating with factories, R&I, procurement, and supply teams.

You will drive value capture through formulation and cost optimization, oversee MVU projects, and support regenerative agriculture initiatives.

Qualifications

• Minimum BS in related field (Engineering, Food Science, Procurement, etc.)
• Strong expertise in Dairy Science & formulation, Dairy ingredient functionality
• Minimum 7 years work experience in a CPG company or related dairy experience
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office
• Experience in developing and implementing strategic plans
• Ability to manage a portfolio of projects and initiatives
• Ability to work cross-functionally in corporate and dairy industry environments
• Strong business development skills, with experience in partnerships and market expansion

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement long-term strategic plans for milk valorization aligned with business objectives and market trends
• Identify opportunities to maximize value of dairy streams through innovation and cost optimization
• Connect formulation knowledge to drive value capture and cost analysis
• Identify opportunities to create incremental value from milk streams and co-products
• Partner cross-functionally with factories, operations, R&I, procurement, and supply teams to implement scalable improvements
• Champion MVU projects through LIM process with stakeholders
• Support the milk supply & Regenerative Agriculture strategies as part of the internal sourcing team
• Act as a company ambassador and promote the Milk Valorization story
