Job summary

Independent Living Systems (ILS) seeks a Manager, Member & Provider Services to lead the daily operations of the contact center serving members and providers in healthcare and social services. You will mentor a team, drive performance, and collaborate with health plan clients and internal teams to ensure compliant, efficient service delivery.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in healthcare admin, business, or related field is required.
• Minimum of 5 years in member or provider services in healthcare or social assistance; at least 2 years in a supervisory role.
• Experience with Medi-Cal eligibility and benefits.
• Experience using operational metrics, reports, and quality audits to drive performance.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily operations of the contact center for members and providers; ensure timely resolution.
• Lead, train, and develop staff; maintain high customer service and efficiency standards.
• Supervise and mentor team; monitor productivity, quality, and timelines.
• Investigate complex/escalated cases; ensure regulatory and contractual compliance.
• Monitor service levels and regulatory turnaround times; drive improvements and audits.
