Job summary

TE Connectivity Corporation in Plymouth, MA, seeks a Senior Manager of R&D/Product Development Engineering to lead TE Medical’s Advanced Technology team and the PROPELUS center. You will drive technology roadmaps, oversee rapid prototyping, and influence early customer development decisions to win scalable manufacturing programs.

The role requires 10+ years in medical product development leadership, strong cross-functional leadership, and up to 20% travel to support a global organization.

Qualifications

• An engineering degree or higher level of qualification from an accredited university.
• 10+ years industry management experience in a medical product development environment desired.
• Willingness to travel up to 20% as required to support a global organization
• Experience leading technical teams >15 people

Responsibilities

• Lead the global Advanced Engineering team across all aspects, from roadmaps to project execution.
• Drive the global PROPELUS operating model for prototype and early-development opportunities.
• Increase number of early-stage development projects and partner with customers.
• Guide the team in applying state-of-the-art technologies for optimum solutions.
• Collaborate with Sales, Product Management, Operations and PMO to align priorities with customer needs.
• Work with HR to develop engineering talent and succession planning.
• Manage communications with business, supply, and PMO for timely project impact.
• Partner with finance to evaluate business outcomes and ROI.
