Job summary

The Cheesecake Factory Incorporated is seeking aSenior Manager, Marketing Technology to lead MarTech and loyalty platforms, driving personalization, CRM, and AI-enabled marketing initiatives. You will partner with Marketing, Technology, Analytics, Finance, Loyalty, and Operations to optimize data, processes, and platforms for measurable business impact.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent in a relevant field.
  • 10+ years of experience in Marketing Technology, CRM, Loyalty Platforms, or related disciplines.
  • Deep expertise managing MarTech ecosystems including CRM, loyalty, CDP, and marketing automation.
  • Hands-on experience with Salesforce Marketing Cloud and related customer engagement technologies.
  • Strong understanding of customer journey design, personalization strategies, and lifecycle marketing.
  • Experience with data architecture, system integrations, APIs, and enterprise-scale marketing technology environments.
  • Ability to design scalable MarTech solutions and support long-term technology roadmaps.
  • Proficiency with SQL, SSJS, AMPscript, HTML, and related technical tools.
  • Strong project management, communication, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Proven ability to partner effectively with business, technology, analytics, and finance teams.

Responsibilities

  • Martech & Loyalty Platforms Management: support execution, optimization, and ongoing enhancements of marketing tech and loyalty platforms.
  • Team Partnership: provide day-to-day guidance, coaching, prioritization, and project management for the MarTech team.
  • Campaign Execution & Lifecycle Marketing: support email, SMS, push, in-app campaigns and lifecycle journeys.
  • Personalization & AI Capabilities: implement personalization initiatives and AI-driven marketing features.
  • CRM & Data Activation: oversee guest data activation, segmentation, and reporting integration.
  • Loyalty Platform Administration: manage promotions, rewards, segmentation, and future capabilities.
  • Martech Operations & Governance: maintain docs, monitor integrations, and support governance and planning.

$180,000 - $200,000 / Year

Position Overview:

Eligible for a hybrid work schedule split between home & office, with a minimum of 3 days in the office each week.

As our Senior Manager, Marketing Technology (MarTech), you'll lead the day-to-day management, optimization, and evolution of our marketing technology and loyalty ecosystem.

In this highly visible role, you'll help shape the future of personalization, customer engagement, loyalty, CRM, and AI-enabled marketing capabilities. Working closely with partners across Marketing, Technology, Analytics, Finance, Loyalty, and Operations, you'll ensure our platforms, data, and processes are integrated and optimized to deliver meaningful business results and memorable guest experiences.

Here’s more of what you’ll get to do:

Martech & Loyalty Platforms Management

  • Support the execution, management, and ongoing optimization of marketing technology and loyalty platforms, including Salesforce Marketing Cloud, SessionM, personalization tools, analytics integrations, and customer data solutions.
  • Partner with business and technology teams to translate business needs into platform enhancements, technical requirements, implementation plans, and operational processes.
  • Evaluate current and emerging technologies and recommend opportunities for innovation and future growth.
  • Ensure platforms are configured, maintained, and optimized to support business objectives and long-term scalability.

Team Partnership & Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Provide day-to-day guidance, coaching, prioritization, and project management support for the MarTech team.
  • Act as a hands-on player-coach, balancing leadership responsibilities with direct involvement in platform administration, troubleshooting, testing, campaign execution, and journey development.
  • Collaborate closely with Marketing, Loyalty, Digital, Analytics, Guest Services, Restaurant Operations, Legal, Privacy, Technology, and Finance teams.
  • Help establish and maintain service levels for platform support, campaign delivery, guest issue resolution, and business requests.
  • Identify opportunities to maximize the value of existing technology investments while supporting evolving business needs.

Campaign Execution, Journey Management, & Lifecycle Marketing

  • Support and optimize email, SMS, push, in-app, and cross-channel marketing campaigns.
  • Leverage Salesforce Marketing Cloud capabilities including Journey Builder, Automation Studio, audience segmentation, campaign orchestration, and automated lifecycle journeys.
  • Partner with stakeholders to develop testing strategies, audience experimentation, and optimization initiatives.
  • Monitor campaign performance and identify opportunities to improve engagement, retention, conversion, and overall guest experience.

Personalization & Advanced Marketing Capabilities

  • Support the implementation of personalization initiatives and AI-enabled marketing capabilities.
  • Leverage customer behavior, loyalty insights, and predictive data to improve targeting and relevance.
  • Help enhance guest experiences through automation, personalization, and innovative marketing solutions.

CRM, Segmentation & Guest Data Activation

  • Oversee CRM and guest data activation processes across connected systems and platforms.
  • Execute audience segmentation strategies, control groups, holdout methodologies, and personalized campaign initiatives.
  • Partner with cross-functional teams to improve data quality, reporting processes, integrations, and audience availability.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve campaign, platform, and data-related issues.

Loyalty Platform Administration and Innovation

  • Partner on loyalty platform administration, including promotions, rewards, member segmentation, enhancements, and issue resolution.
  • Support future capabilities such as gamification, predictive offers, real-time personalization, and expanded digital engagement.
  • Help drive growth in Rewards participation, retention, engagement, and member lifetime value.

Martech Operations, Governance & Support

  • Maintain documentation, processes, and operating procedures across the MarTech and Loyalty ecosystem.
  • Monitor integrations between marketing platforms, loyalty systems, analytics solutions, and enterprise data environments.
  • Coordinate platform enhancements, campaign requests, operational improvements, and support activities.
  • Support reporting, business reviews, annual planning, governance initiatives, and ongoing optimization efforts.
What we require:
  • Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Marketing, Business Administration, Data Analytics, Engineering, or a related field.
  • 10+ years of experience in Marketing Technology, CRM, Loyalty Platforms, Marketing Automation, Customer Data Platforms (CDPs), Digital Marketing, Solution Architecture, or related disciplines.

What We Prefer

  • MBA, Master's degree in Data Analytics, Digital Marketing, or a related field.
  • Experience working with loyalty platforms such as SessionM, Capillary, Talon.One, or similar technologies.
  • Experience implementing and optimizing personalization and AI-driven marketing capabilities.
  • Background leading large-scale MarTech transformations, platform implementations, or ecosystem enhancements.
  • Experience in hospitality, restaurant, retail, travel, financial services, or other customer-focused industries with sophisticated loyalty programs.
  • Passion for innovation, customer engagement, and creating exceptional guest experiences through technology.
