This person will help build a more rigorous marketing measurement engine for a rapidly scaling business, establishing the dashboards, attribution approaches, testing frameworks, forecasts, and decision-support processes needed to improve marketing effectiveness and efficiency across the organization.

Key Responsibilities:
Marketing Analytics & Measurement
  • Own end-to-end marketing analytics across performance marketing, brand marketing, and owned channels.
  • Define KPIs and measurement frameworks across customer acquisition, conversion, retention, engagement, brand health, and marketing efficiency.
  • Translate complex data into clear business recommendations that improve decision-making and resource allocation.
  • Create a consistent operating cadence for weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual marketing performance reviews.
Performance Marketing & Agency Management
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for Turtlebox’s performance marketing agency.
  • Lead ongoing analysis of paid media performance across channels such as paid social, paid search, display, video, affiliate, and other acquisition programs as applicable.
  • Monitor and evaluate key metrics including ROAS, MER, CAC, LTV, payback, conversion rate, contribution margin, incrementality, and new-customer productivity.
  • Challenge agency assumptions, validate reporting, identify opportunities, and ensure recommendations translate into action.
Brand Marketing Analytics
  • Measure the effectiveness of brand marketing efforts across television, partnerships, ambassadors, events, PR, social, content, and other upper-funnel channels.
  • Develop frameworks to assess brand awareness, engagement, traffic impact, conversion influence, geographic lift, and long-term value creation.
  • Partner with marketing leadership to evaluate how brand investment supports demand generation, customer acquisition, channel growth, and overall business performance.
Experimentation, Attribution & Forecasting
  • Build and manage testing agendas across audiences, creative, messaging, landing pages, media mix, offers, and lifecycle programs.
  • Partner with internal technology, e-commerce, finance, and data resources to improve data reliability and measurement capability.
Cross-Functional Partnership
  • Partner closely with Creative, Community, E-commerce, Sales, Finance, PR, Social, and agency stakeholders to connect marketing activity to business results.
  • Support analysis across key commercial channels, including DTC, Amazon, retail, and corporate, where marketing influences demand and sell-through.
Qualifications:
  • Minimum 10 years of relevant experience in marketing analytics, growth analytics, performance marketing analytics, customer analytics, or related strategy and insights roles.
  • Bachelor’s degree from a reputable university required; degree in Marketing, Business, Economics, Statistics, Mathematics, Data Analytics, or a related field preferred.
  • Proven experience measuring and optimizing both performance marketing and brand marketing in a consumer-facing business.
  • Demonstrated success working with, managing, or holding accountable a third-party performance marketing agency.
  • Strong foundation in attribution, experimentation, forecasting, dashboarding, customer economics, and cross-channel measurement.
  • Experience analyzing paid media and owned channels, including Email, SMS, PR, and Social.
  • Advanced Excel skills and strong experience with analytics and business‑intelligence tools; familiarity with SQL, GA4, Shopify, attribution platforms, CDPs, or similar tools preferred.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to synthesize data into clear insights and recommendations for senior leaders and cross‑functional partners.
Preferred Experience:
  • Experience in consumer products, e-commerce, DTC, retail, or another omnichannel environment.
  • Familiarity with customer cohort analysis, retention modeling, LTV/CAC frameworks, and contribution-margin measurement.
  • Experience measuring upper-funnel media such as television, brand partnerships, influencer or ambassador programs, PR, and live events.
