Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in industrial/mechanical engineering or business administration preferred.
  • Ten years of hands-on experience in manufacturing acceptable with HS diploma.
  • Minimum of five years of supervisory experience in welded ASME code metal fabrication or other metal manufacturing.
  • Proven track record of implementing best practices and driving improvements in manufacturing processes.

  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives in manufacturing processes to enhance efficiencies and shorten lead times for products.

GEA Group, located in York, PA is seeking a seasoned professional to join our 2nd Shift as a Manufacturing Plant Manager! The 2nd Shift Manager will manage day-to-day activities of the manufacturing plant and contributes to the development and/or modification of manufacturing policies and procedures. In addition, he/she will ensure availability of tools and equipment and maintains staffing to meet production requirements.

  • Strong communication and leadership skills, with the ability to engage and motivate teams at all levels.
  • Analytical mindset with a focus on data‑driven decision‑making.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong problem‑solving abilities with a keen attention to detail.
  • Proficient interpersonal skills with the ability to resolve issues effectively.

The typical base pay range for this position at the start of employment is expected to be between $85,000.00 - $108,000.00 per year. GEA Group has different base pay ranges for different work locations within the United States. The pay range is not a guarantee of compensation or salary. The estimated range is the budgeted amount for the position. Final offers are based on various factors, including skill set, experience, location, qualifications, and other job‑related reasons.

You may be eligible for additional rewards, such as discretionary bonus (based on eligibility) and/or equity awards.
