Role Overview

The Sr. Manager of Managed Care Contracting, Regional & Medicaid is responsible for drafting, reviewing, and executing contracts with Regional Payers and Medicaid stakeholders. This role involves translating business strategies into sound legal and financial contractual agreements, ensuring compliance with company policies and regulations. The position requires collaboration with various internal teams to ensure the accuracy and integrity of contract documentation, supporting Teva’s Innovative and Biosimilar product portfolio.

Location

This hybrid role can be based in Parsippany, NJ or West Chester, PA.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Contract Drafting & Authoring
    • Develop and implement contracting strategies with cross-functional teams
    • Manage RFP, bid, and approval processes
    • Maintain contract templates and legal language
  2. Contract Lifecycle Management & Process Improvement
    • Oversee the entire contract lifecycle
    • Ensure proper documentation and version control
    • Identify and implement process efficiencies
  3. Cross-Functional Collaboration
    • Work with internal teams to align contract terms with business goals
    • Coordinate with analytics, finance, and compliance teams for key contract impacts
  4. Compliance & Risk Management
    • Ensure legal and regulatory compliance of contracts
    • Support audit and dispute processes
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business or related; MBA, JD preferred
  • At least 6 years in payer contracting, healthcare law, or managed care agreements
  • Proficiency with CLM tools and MS Office
  • Knowledge of compliance standards and regulations
Skills
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills

  • Experience in pharma/biotech industry preferred
  • Understanding of government pricing policies
  • Ability to manage multiple contracts in a fast-paced environment
Additional Details

Travel approximately 5-10% domestically. Physical and visual requirements include sitting for extended periods and performing computer work. The work environment may include PPE during site visits.
