What You'll Be Doing

Verizon's Corporate Systems Group (CSG) is transforming technology use across the business to enhance customer and employee experiences, strengthen partner value, and develop advanced processes through product management and industry-leading platforms.

As a Senior Manager - Legal and Communications, you will lead a team to manage end-to-end processes, translating business strategy into product strategy, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to develop and implement product capabilities.

You will play a key role in developing industry-leading practices, platforms, and systems-based programs, empowering the organization to achieve strategic objectives, including data strategy and architecture. Experience in fostering cultural and mindset shifts is essential for modernizing our large-scale organization.

Responsibilities
  1. Partner with business leaders to translate strategy into product capabilities and roadmaps.
  2. Provide strategic insights and thought partnership to leadership.
  3. Identify capabilities to be built and plan the path to achieve desired outcomes.
  4. Drive action planning and prioritize initiatives.
  5. Lead cross-team efforts to develop and execute action plans.
  6. Evaluate progress, facilitate planning sessions, and communicate with senior leadership.
  7. Collaborate to develop demand plans supporting digital transformation.
  8. Manage continuous improvement of planning processes and tools.
  9. Design end-to-end process improvements to optimize revenue and reduce costs.
  10. Promote enterprise thinking, innovation, and a customer-centric approach.
  11. Implement agile project management to ensure effective execution and stakeholder satisfaction.
  12. Create a learning environment that fosters ownership, inspiration, and servant leadership.
Qualifications

Required:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience.
  • Six or more years of relevant experience, including team leadership in process management for Legal and Communications domains.
  • Experience with Lean Six Sigma, Design Thinking, and Agile methodologies.
  • Proven project management skills.

Preferred:

  • Degree in engineering, business, computer science, or related fields.
  • Experience managing large, cross-functional projects and influencing senior stakeholders.
  • Strong leadership, interpersonal, and communication skills, with the ability to handle sensitive information.
  • Strategic thinking with analytical and influencing skills.
Work Environment

This is a hybrid role with a defined work location, including remote work and a minimum of eight office days per month, scheduled by your manager.
