Overview

JOB SUMMARY: The Senior Manager, Learning & Development plays a pivotal role in shaping how Novocure develops its people, drives performance, and supports our patient-forward mission. This leader will design and deliver impactful learning strategies that strengthen clinical expertise, enhance professional skills, and build leadership effectiveness across the US Business Unit. As a strategic partner and facilitator, you will create innovative learning experiences that inspire curiosity, foster growth, and enable our teams to thrive in a rapidly evolving healthcare environment. This is a full-time, exempt, remote role tied to the Chesterbrook office reporting to the Director, Learning & Development.

Responsibilities
  • Design and Deliver Learning Programs: Create engaging, modern learning solutions that combine instructional design best practices, adult learning theory, and interactive facilitation techniques (both live and virtual).
  • Facilitate Learning Discussions: Lead dynamic workshops, training sessions, and learning forums that encourage active participation, reflection, and application.
  • Project Leadership: Apply project management skills to scope, organize, and deliver multiple initiatives simultaneously ensuring timelines, resources, and deliverables are met with excellence.
  • Learning Needs Analysis: Partner with business leaders, sales, medical, and marketing teams to identify performance gaps and recommend innovative solutions.
  • Learning Experience Innovation: Employ varied delivery methods including classroom, virtual, blended, and field-based learning to accommodate diverse learning styles.
  • Content Quality & Consistency: Champion excellence in learning materials, ensuring programs are impactful, scalable, and sustainable.
  • Measurement & Insights: Use analytics and KPIs to evaluate program effectiveness, track trends, and continuously improve.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Build strong relationships with subject matter experts and stakeholders to align on priorities and deliver high-value learning solutions.
  • Culture of Growth: Reinforce training as an essential part of Novocure's culture, empowering employees to learn, grow, and contribute meaningfully to patient outcomes.
Qualifications
  • 7-10 years of experience in biotech/pharmaceutical, durable medical equipment, or medical device sales, with exposure to training, education, or marketing.
  • 2+ years in Learning & Development, with proven expertise in instructional design, facilitation, and project management.
  • Oncology experience strongly preferred.
  • Bachelor's degree required; Master's in Learning, Education, Organizational Development, or related field preferred.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage diverse audiences and build trust.
  • Track record of success in leading projects and delivering learning programs that achieve measurable impact.
  • Vendor management experience with training platforms and technologies.
  • Passion for helping people learn, grow, and succeed.
