Job summary

Oracle is seeking a senior engineering leader to guide the OKE Nodes & Apps team, delivering secure, scalable Kubernetes services for Oracle Kubernetes Engine (OKE) and related cloud-native platforms.

You will partner with Compute, Networking, Storage, Security, and Product Management to define roadmaps, drive upgrades, improve observability, and raise reliability across the control plane and data plane while mentoring engineers and building high-performing teams.

Qualifications

• Experience leading one or more engineering teams responsible for Kubernetes platforms.
• Strong background in distributed systems, reliability, and performance tuning.
• Ability to drive operational excellence, automation, and cost efficiency.

Responsibilities

• Lead one or more teams within the OKE Nodes & Apps organization to deliver secure, scalable Kubernetes services.
• Drive execution across node lifecycle, platform capabilities, and service reliability.
• Collaborate with OCI engineering, product management, and customer support to deliver customer-focused solutions.
• Establish engineering best practices for quality, observability, security, and continuous improvement.
• Mentor and develop team members through coaching and performance management.
