Job summary

The Pasha Group is seeking a Senior Manager, IT Systems & Cloud Operations to lead modernization across Azure, VMware, and Windows, driving digital transformation and resilience.

You will oversee daily infrastructure operations, modernize legacy systems, ensure ISO 27001 and CMMC compliance, and devise disaster recovery and continuity plans while collaborating with cross‑functional teams. This role demands strong leadership and vendor management.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in IT or related field.
• 8+ years in IT infrastructure operations with cloud experience.
• 5+ years managing Azure cloud services and 3+ years VMware environments.
• Proven vendor and contract management with SLAs.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily operations of Azure, VMware, and Windows infrastructure.
• Modernize legacy systems into cloud-based solutions.
• Ensure ISO 27001 and CMMC compliance across environments.

Your Role:

Lead, Modernize, and SecureDriving reliability, innovation, and excellence in every system and solution.

• Infrastructure Leadership – Oversee daily operations of Azure, VMware, and Windows infrastructure to ensure performance, scalability, and cost efficiency.
• System Modernization – Lead the transformation of legacy systems to modern, cloud‑based solutions that support evolving business needs and long‑term growth.
• Cybersecurity Compliance – Maintain adherence to ISO 27001 and CMMC frameworks, ensuring all systems meet security and regulatory standards.
• Disaster Recovery & Continuity – Develop and maintain comprehensive disaster recovery and business continuity plans to ensure operational resilience.
• Collaboration & Integration – Partner with architecture, DevOps, and application development teams to support seamless infrastructure readiness and integration.
• Automation & Optimization – Drive automation, standardization, and continuous improvement across platforms to enhance efficiency and reduce operational costs.
• Vendor & Resource Management – Manage vendor partnerships, licensing, and service‑level agreements while leading a high‑performing technical team focused on innovation and accountability.
• Monitoring & Reporting – Track infrastructure health, usage, and compliance metrics; prepare executive reports to support data‑driven decision‑making.
• Leadership & Mentorship – Inspire, guide, and develop technical professionals through coaching, collaboration, and performance management.

What You Bring To The Team

• A blend of technical mastery, strategic vision, and people leadership.
• Education – Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Certifications – Transportation Worker Identification Credential (TWIC), valid passport, and driver’s license required. Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator Associate or equivalent certification preferred.
• Experience –8+ years in IT infrastructure operations, with 5+ years managing Azure cloud services (compute, storage, networking, identity). Strong background in Windows Server administration, Active Directory, and endpoint management. 3+ years managing VMware environments (vSphere, ESXi, vCenter). Proven experience implementing ISO 27001 and CMMC cybersecurity compliance. Demonstrated success leading technical teams and managing vendors, contracts, and SLAs. Experience in transportation, logistics, or maritime industries preferred.
• Skills & Knowledge –Deep expertise in Azure PaaS and IaaS infrastructure management. Advanced understanding of hybrid cloud architecture and modernization strategies. Skilled in developing and executing disaster recovery and continuity plans. Strong vendor management and negotiation experience. Familiarity with Agile project management and tools like Atlassian Jira. Exceptional communication, leadership, and organizational skills.

The salary range listed is based on the geographic zone associated with this role: San Rafael, CA. • Zone 1: $165,000 - $190,000
• The job is also eligible for participation in an Incentive Plan with a target payout based on eligible compensation and corporate/individual performance goal attainment.
• Annual Incentive Opportunity: 15% of eligible compensation
