Senior Manager, IT/OT Digital Solutions - Enablement Solutions

Position: Full-time, permanent, starting as soon as possible

Role Overview

As Senior Manager, IT/OT Digital Solutions - Enablement Solutions, you will lead a team responsible for IT solutions supporting RWE Clean Energy's cross-functional business areas and initiatives. Your role involves developing and operating in-house IT products, managing COTS applications, and setting strategic directions in collaboration with stakeholders and technologists. You will oversee product development using Agile practices and foster interdisciplinary collaboration.

Responsibilities
  1. Lead and develop the Enablement Solutions team, overseeing development and operations of IT products and COTS applications.
  2. Serve as the domain solution architect, collaborating with stakeholders and technologists to define and implement technology strategies.
  3. Guide a team of technical experts in product development and application management using Agile methodologies.
  4. Participate actively in Agile sprints, contributing to product roadmap development.
  5. Enhance collaboration across teams and external partners, promoting iterative delivery and feedback.
  6. Drive transition to DevOps practices and optimize cloud operations, leading cloudification initiatives.
  7. Reduce technical debt and insource business-managed IT processes.
  8. Ensure high availability, reliability, and compliance with security standards, establishing OKRs to measure SLA adherence.
  9. Support modernization and optimization of the product portfolio, leveraging modern technologies.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, Software Engineering, or related field; Master's preferred.
  • Certifications such as Scrum Master, SAFe, CSDP are advantageous.
  • At least 12 years of experience in IT solutions and digital innovation, with leadership experience.
  • Experience managing platform solutions for large energy/utilities companies.
  • Strong knowledge of cloud platforms (Azure), DevOps, and agile SDLC practices.
  • Proven experience in implementing scaled agile frameworks and managing complex projects.
  • Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and leadership skills.
  • Willingness to travel occasionally and work in an office-based environment.
Compensation and Benefits

Salary range: $128,000 - $190,000 annually, based on location and experience.
