Job summary

Latham & Watkins seeks an EST Senior Manager - Internal Events in New York to lead the Events, Sponsorship and Travel team. You will develop, implement, and oversee internal event strategy and execution, aligning with firm objectives.

The role supports hybrid and in-office work and requires travel for company events. The position demands a minimum of 12 years’ event experience, strong leadership, and strategic thinking to optimize processes, costs, and ROI while safeguarding confidential

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent.
• A minimum of twelve (12) years of relevant event experience.
• A minimum of twelve (12) years of cumulative experience.

Responsibilities

• Managing and coaching a team of event professionals responsible for designing and delivering best-in-class events.
• Proactively managing the lifecycle of large-scale events, including objectives, planning, sourcing, vendor management, onsite and virtual platforms, registration, and post-event analysis.
• Developing and refining event processes to maximize efficiency and ROI.
• Collaborating across business services to ensure alignment and compliance.
• Collaborate across departments to ensure alignment and compliance with risk guidelines.
• Protect sensitive information related to events and the firm.
