Job summary

Community College of Rhode Island (CCRI) seeks an Associate Director of Institutional Effectiveness to lead data reporting, analyses, and governance that inform college planning. The role ensures data integrity, timeliness, and compliance across IPEDS and internal standards, coordinating with the Chief Data & Research Officer and IE team.

The successful candidate will supervise analysts, advance reporting capabilities, and collaborate with multiple offices to drive institutional improvement

Qualifications

• Master’s degree required; advanced research methods preferred.
• Experience with institutional research or effectiveness is favored.
• Experience with IPEDS or federal/state reporting is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and execute credit and non-credit reporting obligations.
• Manage IPEDS and other external reporting requirements.
• Develop analyses and reports to support planning and decision‑making.
• Supervise Research Analysts and staff in data management and reporting.
• Maintain data dictionaries, validation records, and auditable reporting.
• Prepare dashboards, fact book updates, and internal/external presentations.
