Scorpion Therapeutics in Berkeley Heights, NJ is seeking a Senior Manager, Information Security to lead and mature the company’s information security program, balancing strategy, governance, compliance, and people leadership with hands-on technical operations.

The role drives security policy development, risk management, audits, incident response, vendor assessments, and security platforms, ensuring business continuity and integration of security into operations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Cybersecurity/IT/Computer Science (or related) or equivalent experience.
• 8+ years progressive cybersecurity experience, including 3+ years leading security programs/projects/technical teams.
• Regulated biotech/pharma/healthcare/life sciences experience preferred.
• CISSP strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead and mature the enterprise Information Security Program.
• Develop and maintain cybersecurity policies, standards, procedures, and governance.
• Own the cybersecurity roadmap and maintain the enterprise risk register.
• Supervise, mentor, and develop cybersecurity personnel.
• Provide technical oversight of security operations, incident response, vulnerability management, vendor assessments, and security platforms.
• Maintain hands-on proficiency with enterprise security technologies; provide operational backup when required.
• Lead audits, penetration testing, tabletop exercises, and remediation planning.
• Develop executive metrics and cybersecurity reporting.
• Partner with business stakeholders to integrate cybersecurity into business operations.
• Support business continuity and disaster recovery initiatives.

• Salary range: $130,000–$170,000 USD.
