Job summary

Invesco is seeking a Sr. Manager of Information Risk and Controls to lead second-line oversight of Business Resilience and Data risk. You will work with the Global Head of Information Risk and Controls and collaborate with the Chief Data Office, cybersecurity, privacy, and other risk functions to strengthen risk posture.

You will provide independent governance, challenge risk acceptances, and guide remediation timelines while coordinating with multiple lines of defense and regulators.

Qualifications

• 8+ years in risk, control, data governance or assurance.
• Experience in operational resilience or data governance.
• Ability to challenge risk reporting and provide independent second-line oversight.
• Strong communication and stakeholder influence across senior management.

Responsibilities

• Lead second-line oversight of Business Resilience and Data risk across the firm.
• Challenge effectiveness of resilience capabilities, testing, and remediation.
• Oversee data governance framework adoption and remediation progress.
• Review material incidents for root cause and lessons learned; advise on remediation.
• Lead the annual risk and control self-assessment and rating processes.
