Job summary

Jobtailor is seeking a lead Oracle Fusion Cloud SCM professional in the Chicago area to drive assessment, deployment strategies, and supply chain implementations. You will analyze data, coordinate with stakeholders, and monitor supplier performance and contract compliance.

The role focuses on inventory optimization, demand forecasting, and ensuring timeliness and quality across logistics. Travel to client sites may be required as projects demand.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field is required.
• 2 years IT experience with business transformations on Oracle Fusion Cloud ERP or related Oracle products.
• Travel up to 5% per year for meetings and projects is expected.

• Lead Oracle Fusion Cloud assessment, deployment strategies, and supply chain implementation projects


• Analyze data and collaborate with internal and external stakeholders


• Monitor supplier performance and contract compliance


• Ensure timely deliveries and adherence to quality standards


• Implement inventory control strategies to optimize stock levels and reduce carrying costs, stockouts, and overstocks


• Coordinate transportation and logistics activities, including shipments, freight costs, and delivery schedules


• Develop demand forecasts using historical data, market trends, and upcoming promotions or events


• Adjust inventory plans for changing demand patterns and seasonal fluctuations


• Ensure compliance with applicable laws, regulations, and industry standards


• Design, configure, and implement Oracle Fusion SCM solutions


• Gather and document business stakeholder requirements


• Develop, test, and deploy customizations


• Provide post-implementation support


• Prepare and deliver end-user training

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree (or foreign equivalent) in Computer Science, Computer Information Systems, Engineering (any), Information Technology, or related field


• Two (2) years of IT experience


• One (1) year of IT work experience with business transformations on Oracle Fusion Cloud ERP, Oracle E-Business Suite (EBS), Oracle Fusion Middleware, PL/SQL, Linux, and JavaScript


• Travel and relocation to various unanticipated locations throughout the U.S. required based on business needs


• Ability to travel up to 5% per year for meetings and assigned projects


• All experience may be acquired concurrently
