Job summary

Cencora in the United States (Texas) seeks an experienced leader to drive identity and access management globally. You will guide strategy, governance, and a high-performing team to ensure secure provisioning, access reviews, and privileged access control across the organization.

The role emphasizes implementing multi-factor authentication, monitoring security telemetry, and maintaining compliance with international standards while developing talent within the IAM function.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in IT, cybersecurity, computer science, information systems, business administration, or related field or equivalent experience.
• Master's degree in IT, cybersecurity, CS, information systems, or related field or equivalent experience preferred.
• 7+ years of experience in identity and access management, cybersecurity, information security, IT operations, or a related field.
• 3+ years of experience in a managerial capacity.
• Certification in identity and access management, cybersecurity, or equivalent preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversees the continuous evolution and deployment of advanced enterprise identity solutions to safeguard global applications and data.
• Formulates identity governance strategies for automated user provisioning, access certification, and privileged account management.
• Analyzes authentication telemetry and access logs to identify vulnerabilities and direct remediations.
• Drives integration of multi-factor authentication and adaptive access controls in new tech deployments.
• Ensures compliance with evolving data privacy laws and international security standards across IAM infrastructures.
• Manages, coaches, and develops an IAM team to meet strategic security objectives.

• Master's degree in information technology, cybersecurity, computer science, information systems, business administration, or a related field, or equivalent experience preferred.
• 7+ years of experience in identity and access management, cybersecurity, information security, it operations, or a related field required.
• 3+ years of experience in a managerial capacity required.
