Lutron Electronics Company, Inc is seeking a Senior Manager – Human Resources in its Coopersburg, PA office. The role leads a team of HR professionals, partnering with Engineering to deliver strategic HR leadership, support, and execution across the organization.

You will balance long-term strategy with hands-on delivery, influencing senior stakeholders and driving organizational change, talent growth, and employee engagement while upholding compliant and fair HR practices.

Qualifications

• 12+ years of progressive HR leadership experience across end-to-end functions.
• Bachelor’s degree is required; MBA is a plus; professional HR certifications are beneficial.
• Ability to travel about 25% of the time; experience supporting R&D/engineering teams is a plus.
• In-person, office-based role with strong stakeholder collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Lead, coach, and develop a team of HR professionals by providing clear direction, performance feedback, and career development.
• Build strong, trust-based relationships with leaders and stakeholders across a matrixed organization to drive alignment and results.
• Attract, hire, and develop top talent, ensuring fair treatment and growth to full potential.
• Lead talent reviews and succession planning to build a strong Engineering leadership pipeline.
• Champion Lutron principles and foster a safe, respectful, and productive workplace culture.
• Partner with leaders on organizational design and workforce planning initiatives.
• Design and implement HR programs, policies, and solutions aligned with business needs.
• Identify learning needs and partner with L&D to execute and measure development programs.
• Collaborate with HR Centers of Excellence (Comp & Benefits, TA, Talent Development) to support business objectives.
• Administer core HR processes including salary reviews, performance reviews, promotions, year-end evaluations, employee relations, and accommodation requests.
• Lead and support organizational change, employee engagement, and retention initiatives to improve workforce effectiveness.
• Lead HR analytics initiatives and drive continuous improvement of HR systems.
• Maintain deep knowledge of employment laws and HR policies, ensuring day-to-day compliance and partnering with Legal as required.

Qualifications

• 12+ years of progressive experience across end-to-end Human Resources functions, people strategy and people leadership roles.
• Bachelor’s Degree is required; an MBA is a plus.
• HR certifications (like SHRM, Cornell, etc.) are nice to have.
• Ability to travel typically 25% of the time, with flexibility to accommodate additional travel as required by business needs.
• Prior experience supporting R&D and engineering teams is an asset.
• This is an in-person, office-based role, as the position requires working closely with others.
