Job summary

Eastern Kentucky University is seeking an Assistant Director of Housing Facilities Operations to oversee facility operations, housing transitions, capital projects, and special events across the Richmond campus. This role ensures spaces are safe, functional, and ready to support the student experience, coordinating with Facilities Management, Housing staff, contractors, and campus partners.

Qualifications

• Two years of administration or housing-related experience.
• Experience with Microsoft Office, Banner, and CBord preferred.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate daily University Housing facility operations to ensure safe, functional spaces.
• Oversee housing openings/closings, transitions, summer programs, and special housing events.
• Participate in after-hours on-call rotation for emergency response and operational planning.
• Provide supervision and leadership for assigned student staff and operational employees.

Education

Bachelor’s degree in Business management, Public Administration, or related field

Master’s degree preferred
