This is more than a government affairs position, it's an opportunity to become a trusted advisor, policy leader and advocate for Colorado's business community. As the Senior Manager, Government Affairs, you'll partner closely with the Vice President of External Affairs to shape legislative strategy, represent the Chamber with elected officials and business leaders, facilitate policy discussions and help guide initiatives that influence Colorado's economic future.
Partner with Chamber leadership to develop policy priorities at the state and local level, analyze public policy issues and advocate for solutions that strengthen Colorado's business community.
Build trusted relationships with business leaders, elected officials, community organizations and strategic partners while facilitating collaboration around shared policy goals.
Lead policy committees, member forums and stakeholder discussions that educate, engage and activate Chamber members.
Drive complex projects that strengthen the Chamber's advocacy efforts, member experience and long-term organizational impact.
Partner with the Vice President of External Affairs to strengthen departmental operations while mentoring teammates, supporting key initiatives and helping ensure the team delivers exceptional results.

$90,000-$110,000 annually, depending on qualifications and experience.
This position does not have direct supervisory responsibilities. However, it serves as a mentor, thought partner and subject matter expert within the Government Affairs team. This role provides guidance, coaching and project leadership to team members while influencing outcomes through collaboration, expertise and relationship building.
