Make your impact

As Senior Manager, Global SIOP, you will lead the evolution of Weir Minerals' global planning capability from regional and functionally aligned processes to a fully integrated enterprise planning model. You will drive the execution of our Global SIOP roadmap, influence business leaders across regions and functions, and ensure planning decisions support growth, customer commitments, operational performance, inventory optimization, and working capital objectives.

This role combines strategic planning, change leadership, and executive advisory responsibilities, transforming data into actionable business decisions while building alignment across Commercial, Operations, Supply Chain, Finance, and Regional Leadership teams.

What We Do At Weir

We are a global leader in mining technology for a sustainable future. We help our customers extract the resources the world needs more efficiently and more sustainably. Our planet’s future depends on the transition to renewable energy, and that transition can only happen with the metals and minerals our customers deliver. So, we work side by side with mines across the globe to move less rock, use less energy, use water wisely, and create less waste. Together, we drive the shift to smart, efficient, and more sustainable mining.

What You'll do
  • Global SIOP Transformation Leadership: Lead the execution of Weir Minerals' global SIOP roadmap, driving the transition from regional planning processes to an integrated enterprise planning model. Partner with leaders across the business to embed standardized processes, governance, and best practices that improve decision‑making and business performance.
  • Executive Decision Support: Act as a trusted advisor to senior leadership by converting demand, supply, inventory, capacity, and financial insights into clear business recommendations. Facilitate executive reviews and help drive decisions that balance growth, customer commitments, operational performance, and working capital objectives.
  • Cross-Functional Alignment & Influence: Bring Commercial, Operations, Supply Chain, Finance, and Regional Leadership teams together around one forward‑looking enterprise plan. Build strong stakeholder relationships, navigate competing priorities, and influence alignment across a complex global organization.
  • Change Leadership & Organizational Adoption: Champion planning transformation initiatives by driving engagement, adoption, and accountability across regions and functions. Help teams navigate change effectively, balancing progress with practical implementation while fostering a culture of collaboration and continuous improvement.
  • Planning Capability & Digital Enablement: Support the deployment and advancement of enterprise planning capabilities. Strengthen planning maturity by developing processes, capabilities, and organizational expertise that enable scalable and sustainable business planning.
  • Business Performance: Drive measurable improvements in forecast accuracy, inventory performance, customer service, capacity utilization, and business agility.
  • Safety First: Demonstrate 100% commitment to our zero harm behaviors in support of our drive towards developing a world‑class safety culture.
What You’ll Bring
  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Operations, Business, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent industry experience.
  • Significant experience leading SIOP, IBP, Supply Chain Planning, or enterprise planning initiatives within a global industrial or manufacturing environment.
  • Proven success implementing planning transformations and driving organizational adoption of new processes and ways of working.
  • Experience working with advanced planning solutions such as Kinaxis, SAP IBP, Blue Yonder, OMP, or similar platforms.
  • Strong understanding of demand planning, supply planning, inventory management, capacity planning, and executive business review processes.
  • Demonstrated ability to influence senior leaders and drive decisions across multiple functions and geographic regions.
  • Exceptional communication and presentation skills, with the ability to adapt messaging for technical, operational, commercial, and executive audiences.
  • Experience operating within complex industrial manufacturing environments, preferably job‑shop, engineered‑to‑order, make‑to‑order, or project‑based manufacturing models.
