Summary / Role Purpose

Reporting to the Senior Director, Global Finance Order to Cash, the Senior Manager Global I2C (Invoice to Cash) is responsible for delivering transformation, consistent processes and best practice throughout the global I2C process along with leading the North American Accounts Receivable team.

Key Duties and Responsibilities

  • Improving and automating the invoice generation and distribution process
    • Working with relevant stakeholders and technical resources to ensure prompt and accurate invoice generation and subsequent delivery to customers using a variety of methods.
  • Ensuring an efficient, scalable and automated cash application process which minimises the number of manual activities performed.
    • Developing and monitoring KPIs to ensure delivery of automation goals
  • Managing the US Collections team to ensure the effective management of AR balances, timely collection of cash and compliance with cash forecasting and aging targets.
  • Working closely with the Regional AR collection representatives / teams to ensure consistent use of tools, processes and methods of best practice in order to maintain global standards.
  • Prepare and present Accounts Receivable analyses as requested
  • Prepare and present quarterly Accounts Receivable reports for the AR Reserve and other board reports as requested
  • Assist with integration of newly acquired companies by assisting with transition to ANSYS policies and procedures
  • Support Ansys' values and learning initiatives

Minimum Education/Certification Requirements and Experience

  • Experience working at a public, multinational technology company with experience of international I2C operations
  • Bachelor’s or master’s degree in accounting, finance or similar business equivalent.
  • A minimum of ten year's experience in a Finance related role
  • Team management experience, preferably in an international capacity
  • Strong follow-up skills with attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Ability to understand, articulate and explain complex transaction flows and interdependencies
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications and Skills

  • Oracle experience a plus.
  • Advanced Excel skills preferred.
  • Certified Public Accountant, MBA or equivalent qualification
  • Experience of managing business process improvement projects
  • PMP / Six Sigma or equivalent certification
