Job description

Join to apply for the Senior Manager, Global Intelligence role at Stryker.

The Sr. Manager, Global Intelligence is responsible for overseeing the Intelligence Center of Excellence (ICoE) program, ensuring effective risk identification and mitigation to benefit Stryker’s employees and business units. This role involves proactive monitoring of threats, detection, assessment, and response to risks impacting Stryker globally. The Sr. Manager will lead the evolution of the ICoE, including intelligence programs, products, and guidance supporting global risk monitoring, mergers & acquisitions, real estate investments, market assessment, executive protection, and event security. Collaborating with stakeholders across the company, this role aims to uphold Stryker’s Duty of Care and enable business resilience and continuity, working closely with Crisis Management, Business Continuity, and Enterprise Risk Management teams.

This is a remote role within the US.

Responsibilities include:
  1. Leading the evolution of the ICoE and implementing risk mitigation programs.
  2. Developing actionable intelligence products for real-time decision-making on geopolitical, civil unrest, crime, terrorism, and other risks.
  3. Managing intelligence and emergency response vendors and the 24/7 Global Security Communications Center.
  4. Enhancing the Security Communications Center for scalable support.
  5. Building relationships with local and regional management and decision-makers.
  6. Maintaining skills in open source/social media analysis, country risk assessments, crisis management, and related areas.
  7. Providing risk reduction training and reports to employees and leadership.
  8. Producing reports for early crisis detection and operational guidance.
  9. Supporting the Executive Protection program with logistical and intelligence support.
  10. Tracking metrics, identifying gaps, and optimizing the ICoE program.
Minimum qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree
  • 10+ years of experience
  • Experience managing a GSOC
  • Proven leadership in global intelligence programs in a multinational environment
  • Deep understanding of global intelligence networks and partnerships
  • Commitment to 24/7 operational readiness
Preferred qualifications:
  • Knowledge of security disciplines and intelligence tools
  • Success in high-pressure, matrixed organizations
  • Strong analytical, communication, and leadership skills
  • Ability to work independently and strategically
  • Excellent documentation and stakeholder management skills
  • Change leadership mindset
  • Detail-oriented and proactive problem solver

Salary range: $149,300 - 329,000 plus bonus and benefits. Exact compensation depends on skills and experience. Benefits include health, dental, vision, insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), ESPP, and more.
