Woodward Inc. is seeking a Senior Manager Accounting to lead the Record to Report workstream in SAP S/4 implementation across global sites. The role requires strong expertise in Actual/Standard Costing, Intercompany, Payroll & Benefits, and compliance with GAAP/SOX.

The successful candidate will manage a team, drive financial analysis and reporting, and partner with internal and external stakeholders. Travel up to 50% for deployments is anticipated.

Qualifications

• Requires US BA/BS in Accounting or Finance; CPA required.
• Strong knowledge of financial regulations and GAAP/SOX.
• Experience leading accounting teams and interfacing with external partnerships.

Responsibilities

• Ensure organization complies with financial regulations and laws.
• Manage accounting team: hiring, training, mentoring, and ensuring timely, accurate processes.
• Oversee preparation and analysis of financial reports (balance sheets, income statements, cash flow).
• Develop and implement long-term financial strategies aligned with company goals.
• Build and maintain strategic partnerships with auditors, vendors, and other financial professionals.
