Blue Origin is seeking an experienced Senior Software Development Manager to lead a skilled team responsible for the Enterprise MES AI software engineering program. You will drive design, implementation, and delivery of AI-enabled manufacturing software across the product roadmap.

You will partner with customers and external AI partners to advance Physical AI capabilities in aerospace, ensuring high performance, reliability, and secure integration with existing systems.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of software and systems engineering in fast paced environments with 3+ years leading development teams.
• 2+ years in building products that use or incorporate Large Language Models (LLMs).
• 5+ years in building products that apply or incorporate Machine Learning (ML) models.
• Strong experience with GenAI state-of-the-art including agentic harnesses, memory, retrieval augmented generation, and knowledge graphs.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the Enterprise MES AI software engineering team to build AI software products that accelerate the hardware lifecycle.
• Hire, staff, and manage the software engineering/research science team to execute MES AI goals and product roadmap.
• Collaborate with customers and Emerging Technology leaders to define and execute a Physical AI roadmap.
