Job summary

New Mexico Gas Company seeks an experienced construction and project management leader to oversee large-scale gas infrastructure projects from planning through completion. You will partner with cross-functional teams, mentor staff, and ensure projects are delivered safely, efficiently, and in support of growth and reliability goals.

The role requires ABET-accredited engineering education, PMP/PE-related credentials, and strong leadership with a proven track record in complex projects in the gas

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering (ABET accredited).
• Graduate degree in engineering or MBA preferred.
• PE license in NM or the ability to transfer within 12 months.
• NACE CP1/CP2/CP3, GTI RGDP, GTI CGTP certifications desired.

Responsibilities

• Lead large construction capital projects from planning through completion.
• Oversee project engineering and management to ensure on-time, on-budget delivery.
• Negotiate contracts and monitor compliance with providers.
• Mentor staff and drive safety, quality, and process improvements.
• Coordinate with internal departments, regulators, and external stakeholders.
