Job summary

IQ-EQ is a global investor services group providing administration, governance, data and reporting for private markets. You will work with leading private equity and hedge fund firms under seasoned guidance, supporting, performing, and reviewing complex financial components and financial statements while mentoring junior colleagues.

The role emphasizes delivering accurate results, meeting tight deadlines, and maintaining high client service standards.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of progressive experience in private equity or public accounting or a blend with alternative asset investment; Private Credit clients experience desired
• Strong analytical and technical skills in accounting for alternative investment funds
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting; track record leading and developing high-performing teams
• Consistently delivers high-quality, detail-oriented work; manages multiple priorities under tight deadlines; provides exceptional client service
• Proficient in QuickBooks, Microsoft Outlook, Excel, Word, and Investran; communicates effectively in professional environments

Responsibilities

• Support IQ-EQ client leads across multiple Private Equity funds; ensure deliverables align with limited partnership agreements and client expectations
• Manage and review complex financial components: journal entries, investor allocations, capital calls/distributions, fee and carried interest calculations, waterfall models
• Oversee preparation and delivery of financial statements, disclosures, supporting schedules, and investor notices; coordinate with auditors and tax teams during year-end processes
• Assess and enhance operational processes; handle routine and ad-hoc client requests; prioritize to meet deadlines
• Train and mentor junior team members to foster development while maintaining accuracy and timeliness

Job Description

You will be working directly with leading private equity and hedge fund firms in the alternative asset industry under the guidance and direction from our experienced team of industry veterans. You will be facilitating our service offering by assisting, performing, and reviewing the following:

What you’ll do

• You’ll support IQ-EQ client leads across multiple Private Equity funds, ensuring deliverables align with limited partnership agreements and client expectations
• You’ll manage and review complex financial components, including journal entries, investor allocations, capital calls/distributions, fee and carried interest calculations, and waterfall models
• You’ll oversee the preparation and delivery of financial statements, disclosures, supporting schedules, and investor notices, while coordinating with auditors and tax teams during year-end processes

Qualifications

• You bring 8plus years of progressive experiencein private equity, public accounting, or a combination of alternative asset investment and public accounting roles- experience with Private Credit clients required
• You possess strong analytical and technical skills, with proven proficiency in accounting and administration for alternative investment funds.
• You havea Bachelor’degree in Accounting, and have demonstrated success in leading and developing high-performing teams.
• You consistently deliver high-quality, detail-oriented work, manage multiple priorities under tight deadlines, and provide exceptional client service.
• You are proficient in QuickBooks, Microsoft Outlook, Excel, Word, and Investran, and communicate effectively in professional, collaborative environments.
