Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related quantitative field.
• At least 6 years of experience in software engineering.
• At least 3 years of experience with public cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure).
• At least 3 years of people management experience.
• Master’s degree is preferred.
• 4+ years of experience with CI/CD pipelines, IaC, and automated testing frameworks.

Responsibilities

• Lead a portfolio of diverse technology projects and a team of developers with deep experience in distributed microservices and full-stack systems.
• Mentor engineers, participate in internal/external tech communities, and occasionally code or review code.
• Collaborate with product managers to deliver cloud-based solutions for large-scale, user-facing experiences.
• Lead teams using Java, Scala, Python, Go, Node.js, JavaScript, and TypeScript; work with Docker, Kubernetes, and AWS tools.
• Manage multi-team engineering organizations or large programs spanning domains.
• Define multi-year roadmaps and investment priorities with product, architecture, and platform leaders.
• Develop and manage Lead Engineers and succession plans to scale leadership.
• Drive end-to-end design and implementation of high-reliability cloud-native systems.
