Alfasigma is seeking a Senior Manager, Financial Systems, Planning & Analysis to join the US FP&A team in Morristown, NJ. The role is hybrid with at least three days onsite and focuses on expanding financial systems, improving reporting, and enabling accurate budgeting and forecasting.

You will partner with the G&A organization, drive monthly closes, and support planning cycles. A background in pharma/biotech and strong Excel skills are required to thrive in this fast-paced environment.

Qualificações

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, or a related field is required.
• 5+ years of professional experience, preferably within the pharmaceutical/biotechnology industry.
• Ability to work onsite in Morristown, NJ on a hybrid basis (minimum 3 days per week).
• Prior experience with accounting and financial planning/budgeting systems; comfortable working with Excel and data.
• Strong communication skills and ability to translate financial concepts for non-finance partners.
• Learning agility and scalability to take on increased responsibility as Alfasigma grows.

• Lead preparation and consolidation of monthly/quarterly reporting materials.
• Collaborate with Finance & Accounting to ensure alignment.
• Support major forecasting cycles: Budgets, Long‑Range Plans, Latest Best Estimates.
• Assist in implementing new systems if needed.
• Serve as the primary business partner to heads of US G&A organization.
• Support annual G&A budgeting, forecasting, resource allocation, monthly reporting, and ad‑hoc decisions.
• Lead G&A expenses monthly close: accruals, variance analysis, and tracking.

As we continue to grow, we are seeking a Senior Manager, Financial Systems, Planning & Analysis, to join Alfasigma USA. This a hybrid position based out of Morristown, NJ.

Scope of the role:

TheSenior Manager of Financial Systems, Planning & Analysis will report to the Senior Director of Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A). The successful candidate will be hands‑on, have several years of prior US pharmaceutical experience, and will play a critical role in the overall FP&A team at Alfasigma, ensuring financial systems and processes fully support accurate budgeting, timely submissions and effective reporting.

Your key responsibilities:

• Take primary responsibility for financial systems: drive efforts to expand current capabilities, streamline processes and automate reporting
• Perform periodic financial systems data uploads and validation
• Ensure adequate systems configuration in response to business needs
• Understand corporate reporting requirements and lead preparation and consolidation of monthly/quarterly reporting materials in accordance with those requirements
• Collaborate with other members of the Finance & Accounting organization to ensure alignment
• Act as the process ambassador to support systems utilization during major forecasting cycles such as Budgets, Long‑Range Plans and Latest Best Estimates
• Support efforts to implement new systems if needed
• Act as the primary business partner (BP) to the heads of the US General & Administrative (G&A) organization
• Provide support for annual G&A expense budgeting, forecasting, resource allocation, monthly reporting and strategic ad‑hoc decision support
• Lead the G&A expenses monthly close: Work with business partners to prepare and record monthly expense accruals, analyze and explain variances between actual spending and plan or prior periods, maintain up‑to‑date tracking

Who you are:

• Bachelor’s or higher degree in Finance, Economics, or a related field required
• 5+ years of professional experience, preferably within the pharmaceutical/biotechnology industry
• Ability to work onsite in our USA headquarters office in Morristown, NJ, on a hybrid basis (minimum 3 days per week)
• Prior experience with accounting and financial planning/budgeting systems; you must be comfortable working with Excel and significant amounts of data
• As a team player who thrives in a matrixed fast‑paced environment, you are well‑organized yet agile and can easily adapt to changing priorities
• Strong communication skills and can translate financial concepts for business partners who do not have a finance background

The anticipated salary range for this position is $145,000 to $175,000. This represents the anticipated low and high end of the salary range for this position. Actual salaries may vary based on various factors including, but not limited to, experience, skillset, and performance.
